ABSTRACT: BACKGROUND: Shinrin-yoku (experiencing the forest atmosphere or forest bathing) has received increasing attention from the perspective of preventive medicine in recent years. Heavy-ion cancer therapy — a technique which irradiates cancer tissues with a carbon-ion beam — is garnering attention from the global medical research community due to its ability to target hard-to-reach tumours with great accuracy and minimal damage to surrounding tissues.
Through these activities, Gunma University aims to become an international leader in developing an evidence-base for IPE and strives 群馬県 to promote team-based training in Japan and overseas, playing a major role in shaping interprofessional care in the years to come.
