Glenfiddich, the world’s most awarded single malt scotch whisky, brings The Valley of the Deer to Kuala Lumpur from 27th – 30th May 2015 at Carcosa Seri Negara, offering Malaysians a rare behind-the-scenes look into what goes on at one of the world’s most reputable single malt distilleries. Glenfiddich Malaysia With only 20 bottles available in Southeast Asia, Glenfiddich was keen to conduct a launch of the special reserve in key markets amongst targeted media and HNWIs through an experiential event rolled out in each market to enhance relationship development with key stakeholders.
Glenfiddich, the World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, brought The Valley of the Deer to Kuala Lumpur from 27 – 30 May 2015 at Carcosa Seri Negara, offering Malaysians a rare behind-the-scenes look into what goes on at one of the world’s most reputable single malt distilleries.

To address this emerging market, the brand decided to totally immerse its guests and genuinely make them feel as though they had been instantly transported to the brand’s Dufftown distillery in the Scottish Highlands, where they would experience an ‘average working day’ at the distillery.
Datuk Seri Michael Yam, Chairman, Eraman, Zulhikam Ahmad, General Manager, Eraman, Matthew Williams, Regional Director, Asia Pacific Global Travel Retail, Willian Grant & Sons and Brett Bayly, Brand Ambassador, South East Asia, Glenfiddich were among those in attendance.

Malaysia was selected as the host country for the second instalment as it is considered to be an important market with many whisky enthusiasts who would appreciate a rare experience like this – some attendees were especially invited, while others gained tickets by a Glenfiddich bottle purchase at participating outlets leading up to the event.
Glenfiddich 12 gave me a one way roller coaster ticket into this whole new fantastical world of whisky. The Valley of the Deer took guests on an interactive journey that showcased the making of each cask of Glenfiddich single malt whisky. Glenfiddich is the only single malt which is still made using these oak Marrying Tuns.

Even a person like me who cannot take alcohol much and felt that the taste of alcohol was chunky – I personally felt this Glenfiddich 18yrs super smooth. His vibrant, multi-layered depiction of the imposing animal’s 12-pointed antlers is masterful, while the flowing ribbon and medal around its neck symbolises Glenfiddich’s status as the world’s most-awarded single malt.
